Stand In Event Planning

Supplies:
1. Assorted large fruits and/or vegetables
2. Variety of flowers
3. Floral foam
4. Votive holder
5. Scissors
6. Knife1. Select a large fruit or vegetable that will hold your variety of flowers. Cut the very top off of fruit or vegetable with a knife.
2. Carve a 3 inch round/deep opening in fruit or vegetable.
3. Carve floral foam to fit inside of votive holder.
4. Put floral foam inside of votive holder and place into the fruit or vegetable opening.6. Pour water into votive holder.
5. Snip the stems of flowers and arrange them however you like and stick them one by one into the foam. -
Kiwi is my favorite fruit, so i love this idea.. this would be a great color for a wedding as well!

You can easily pick up a crate of clementines (or whatever else happens to fit into your color palette) at a local market and use those to add color and life to your setting. Pile them up, scatter them around, or put them in containers… And they’re a lot cheaper than flowers!
